Default Down 1up front and up 2 in back?

I have a 2005 636 and already went down 1 on the sprocket up front. Im wanting to install the rear up 2 sprocket, did anyone have to install a longer than stock chain? I just got a new chain when I replaced the front sprocket and hate to have to get another one. Just thought I would ask before I install the sprocket and try installing it back on the bike. I want as little down time as possible.

you can run -1 +2 with the stock chain without any problems
