Do Rearsets reduce knee pain?

Do Rearsets reduce knee pain?
I guess only someone with bad knees can really answer this. Before I screwed up my knees I was a knees shmees person where nothing bothered them. Last Tuesday I rode my '06 636 for only 2 hours and have been dealing with knee pain ever since (pretty bad, haven't riden since and taking advil big time). Do rearsets help reduce pain in the knees? It's the fact that the legs are really bent so if rearsets still bend them but at a different angle they probably won't help at all. My only recourse would be getting a cruiser or more moderate type bike (interceptor comes to mind).

I have a little bit of knee problems but it doesn't sound as bad as yours, but I do have back pain. And what I do is just stop every so often and just walk around and stretch and this seems to help me out. Other than dosing up with meds before a ride would more frequent stops help you out?

Most rearsets are made for racing and usually position the pegs higher and further back than stock but maybe there are some that go the other way.
