Differences between '07/'08 and '05/'06 rear shock

Differences between '07/'08 and '05/'06 rear shock
Anybody out there ridden both versions of the ZX-6R (listed above) and can comment on the ride quality of each? I'm contemplating buying a used rear shock from one of the two bikes and putting it in my Z750S and wondering which would be best, if there is any real difference at all. Thanks for your feedback!
