Default Diagnostic Check - Tilt sensor

Does anyone know how to run a diagnostic check on a '06 ZX-6R. Specifically, to check if the tilt sensor has gone off; indicating if the bike has been layed down previously. If you know how to check this, is there also a way to reset the sensor during the diagnostic check? Any information that can help me figure this out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The tilt sensor does not have any memory. If it's bad, the bike won't start.
