Default Clutch problem after burn out?

Hey how's it going fellas? Today I did my first burn out yay! not only did i burn some tire, i think i burned my clutch trying to get the tire to slip.
After burning out I had to let the clutch almost all the way out for it to grab. I loosen it alot to get it where the sweet spot used to be. Does this mean my clutch is about to take a dump soon?

You may want to check your oil, too. If the clutch is toast, you don't want any nasties in your oil.

It's an 05, and i didn't pull the oil cap off to smell it. But i did look at the oil and it still looks clean. I'll take it to work tommorow and see how it rides, hopefully my baby is ok[:@]. If it is the cable how do i check it to make sure it's fine?

wow, does the steels, or the friction plates cause the issue? Would a stiffer spring help?

i talked to a buddy of mine thats the head jack *** at a dealership in nc and we came to the realization that changing everyother spring and running the plates from a older zx6 was the ticket to getting the clutch to not fall off and actually hook up. i forget the year tho.
