Clutch problem after burn out?

RE: Clutch problem after burn out?
That was the reason of my question. I could run 89 600 springs for the 90 zx7 that were actually stiffer. But was not sure on what was happening on the new 6r's.

RE: Clutch problem after burn out?
Well I rode the bike yesterday and it seems to run good. I don't know if it's me but it seems like my take off is slow now. Whatever it is I had to loosen the clutch cable from that twistie thing alot so the bike can grab good. Sounds like my clutch is on it's way huh? Is there a clutch kit out there that is stronger than stock?

i run the versah kevlar fibers and stock steels, and ebc springs, they are 10% stiffer than the stock oem 1's and better for all purpose of rideing, they was like 10.00 for a set for our bikes, u should try them man

RE: Clutch problem after burn out?
You burned up the clutch slipping it for the burn out. Maybe warped the steel plates too. Replace the whole assembly; friction & steel.

So basically when the clutch is going out it's mainly the steel and friction plates? Also don't I need a special tool to remove the clutch? Is there anything else i should be replacing while she's open?
