can you take the motor from a zx-6rr and put it directly into the zx-6r. this is a 06 but i was wondering this because i am looking at racing this bike. i feel that my 03 honda cbr600rr is just too heavy and slow for the newer middle weights. well thats my question, or can you sleve down the 636 because dont they just use the same motor in that year?

 

What organization? Most places allow the 636 and 675s into the 600 class. Check the rule book for the series you want to race.

 

+1 Unreal, maybe call kawasaki direct and have them send you the frame specs for each.

 

im here in the UK and i dont think they do because the club i race in is one step below British Supersport. i just wanted to know. oh well ill just keep on with the honda its getting more power this weekend anyways weeeeeeeeeeee

 

A ZX6RR motor will fit ina ZX6R frame so yes, it can be done. If you get your Honda done, get Ten Kate to work on it. They can make Honda's scream!

 

yeah i have a head going on my bike right now and i should be up to 123 at the wheel. they are expensive so i cant and plus they are in holland. it was just an idea thanks
