I have a 2003 ninja zx6r(636) and i have been noticing that when i ride i can feel a knock in just the foot pegs. I also put if up on a rear stand and just put it in first gear and let it go. the chain starts to bounce a lot and sounds like something is wrong. but i dont know what it is. do i need a new chain and sprockes or is it just off alignment. i adjusted it and looked at the chain and everything looks fine. please help

 

chains need lube too. every 500 miles check adjustment and lube.

 

How many miles on the chain? Do you do wheelies or burnouts?

Adjust it while chain is cold. Take it out for a little spin to warm up the chain, then lube it. Then go ride to see if you still feel the knocking in the pegs. If you still feel it, the chain is kinked up and needs to be replaced.
