? for Canyon riders
Im completely new to the 636. I have been riding Honda/Suzuki liter bikes for a while and never really got as low as I can on the 636 through curves. How would I know how low I can go on the bike without falling over? Its a total noob question, I know. I have been riding around on 190's tires and use the power pilots on the liter bikes Ive owned. I am currently on the stock tires (2006 636). When I take the curves, I feel like Im not pushing the bike hard, but still manage to lean it pretty low. Is falling off the bike the only way to find the point of no return?
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.
not being a smarta$$ but I thought that is what your knee and sliders was for , I've scraped the pegs on my 05 636 ...................I figure that's far enough
( at least for me )

When your stock peg feelers are worn all the way down and the pegs start to wear is when you get rearsets. Then when you touch those, it's low enough. If you do that on the street, you're eitherNUT'S or you need to start going to the track! I thinkwhen the "Chicken Strips" are gone, it's low enough on the street.

Im going to go with the "when the pegs feelers are worn."
On the Street? Don't do it man! Heck these new ZX6R's, I can barely touch the pegs on the track especially the 03-04's. The 05-06's pegs were a little lower for more comfort so it's easier to drag those. The super fast racers are dragging the engine cases (LH alternator case), so Kawasaki made a Race Kit engine case with a bevel for clearance.
