Yeah, I have tryed that too. I even removed the distribution block between the forks and tapped it with the handle of a screwdriver while turning it sideways. Nothing has worked so far. The M/C is also new. Does the same thing the old one did.

Yup. Took them apart, made sure they weren't leaking. Also made sure the piston moved in and out which it did.

Actually, I was messing around with the bike today. After crack bleeding the banjo bolt up at the M/C a few times it has stiffened up a little. Still doesn't brake real well. But it does say I still have air somewhere.

 

I didn't care for speed bleeders too much. They make it easy and not messy, but I just couldn't get good hard pressure on my lever with them.

Another tip after bleeding zip tie the brake lever closed to the handlebar. It will force air to the top of the resivor

 

The diaphragm is there so that when the fluid level goes down, it extends to keep the air in the resevoir to a minimum. And act as a sealto prevent brake fluid from leaking and keeps air & moisture out.

 

do you just leave the zip tie on over night?

 

Today I tried the trick where you use a long piece of tubing, tape the mid-section of tubing onto the fork about half way up, leave the bleeder screw open, and just start pumping. This method worked very well for me. The bike actually has stiffness in the lever now.
