do any of you'll run 87 octane in your 636's

 

I have no idea how low of octane you can run but I always use 91 on mine seeing how bikes run high compresion. Car motors that are high compresion need to run 91 or higher octane. (91 is the highest you can get in CA)

I run sunoco 94octane thru my baby!!

 

Shell or BP I have tried running lower than 93 octane but it seems my bike doesn't want to run as well with anything lower .

 

well uhhh it really doesn't matter, i use whatever in both my cobra(requires 93+ octane) and my katana(no ZX6R bt im poor) as long as the station looks nice since tey all pretty much come from the same big *** tank

man....i tell you...i will never put Costco gas in any of my rides again. i dont know what it is about that crappy gas. i get less umph and less mileage with the "91" they pump out on both my bike and my car. i try and only put mobil and cheveron in. seems to keep up with the high perf engines. thank you cali for the 91 octane max! lol
