Shouldn't find anything inside the floatbowls that isn't gas. If it's in there, it's gonna clog or stick something.
Just be sure to keep good track of every part you remove, so not to loose it and to know where it goes back. I always do one itemfrom each carb at a time, as opposed to one carb at a time, and keep each of the parts grouped together. If I have four of everything, then I know its all there.

+1, I keep all individual pieces layed out on a shop rag directly in front of the carb being worked on. I dismantle the entire carb so this helps me on each carbs relatedparts. 4 carbs, 4 shop rags sitting on the bench.

Woo! It's fixed up and running! Very excited because I did it all myself (with the help of a manual and all your advice). It runs great and I'm happy! Thanks for the assistance guys! Really appreciated!
