i just did the kleen mod on my california bike. 2005 zx6r. what did you guys do with the green tube that goes to the evap canistor? i just pulled it off but i dont know if i should plug the hole on the evap canister. or would i need to connect the green tube to the air box because it was originally connected to the airbox and the t-valve that connects the reeds.

btw does anyone know what i would need to do to remove the ca emissions stuff. do i just need to plug the two holes that the red and blue hoses connect to?

no!! i want to know what the cali kleen mod is. im in cali, i can mod, how come i havent heard of this ? im going to have to have my people contact some other people and get to the bottom of this.

 

Here we go Evil, took some research but found it...

"Basically routing the crankcase breather to the exhaust valves to create a vacuum in the crankcase.

I did it on mine. Removed evap cannister, fuel return pump, blah blah blah. Used 1/2" heater hose and routed breather to the KLEEN valves"

They call it a kleen mod, or a PAIR mod.... Why I don't know...

 

so what is the purpose ? removing the can makes the bike lighter ? adding vac to the crankcase, like giving your case a bj ?? i need more info.

 

Iam not real sure.... It is supposed to give you a better throttle response and Mid range power... But I haven't been able to find any numbers on it anywhere, or even an official type write up.... I googled " kawasaki kleen mod" and found the little amount of info thus far... I am kinda curious myself...
