Not really I just know that they are louder. I have a akrapovic full race exhaust on my r1 and the muzzy full race on my zx7. I like the akrapovic it sounds realy good.

Seem that a lot people have Muzzy's on there Kawasaki's but I still like the akrapovic exhaust system. Does anyone have sound clips of the exhaust? any links?

i just have a d and d carbon fibre slip on, on my old school 6r and i think it sounds pretty sweet. MUCH better than most stock pipes i've heard. REALLY nice that it doesn't heat up too. no more gf shoe rubber on it

Daaamn I was listening to couple of the clip and the D&D exhaust sounds aggressive. I heard many bad things about them but damn the sound is nice ahahha.

 

Totally the opposite.....the Yosh pipe is the cheapest of all the "name brands" out there and they sound all the same....Don't pay twice as much for two pipes is what I would say

 

I think that most pipes sound different. D&D has a higher tone and louder sound then a Akrapovic which is a lower tone and not as loud as the D&D.
Best thing to do is just start looking at bikes you see on the road or go to a function like a bike night to get the best opportunity to hear different pipes.
