FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM

The cheapest company to sell Two bros is probably www.starcycle.com You can get a set of two bros slip-ons at starcycle for $372. Their eBay store was selling the same thing for $358. I wholehartedly believe this is the best way to go. On some full exhaust systems, (like muzzy for the 250) you have to loose the center stand. I've also heard of people having to trim the lower fairing so the pipe doesn't burn the plastic. And I even believe on a certain 250 aftermarket system, you have to unbolt the exhaust to even access the oil filter.
With any aftermarket exhaust, you should rejet the carbs. The two-bros website says you can leave the carbs alone when using their slip-ons, but it's still recommended for maximum performance. If you go Muzzy, you HAVE to rejet and tune the carbs, or the bike will run like crap!
All that said, most people who have installed aftermarket exhausts on their 250's have said it doesn't make enough of a difference in performance to warrant spending $400+$80 jet kit on an exhaust system. Only if you can't stand the factory sound, or race it on a track, should you invest that kind of money into a system.

If you buy flush mount signals, I would look at the ones www.asiancycle.com sells. These will actually work for the 250, and depending on which year you have, they can be painted with the factory paint color as well. Don't be fooled by those signals sold on eBay that are likely truck cab lights. These are the best!
