Yes they did great at Daytona but those are racebikes. Don't get me wrong; I love Kawasaki's and that's why I ride one because that's the bike I wanted when I first laid my eyes on it. Always have been partial to Kawi's. At times that hashindered me because I wasso loyal to Kawasaki. When it comes to racing, you have to go with the most competitive bike on the track.

I'm talking about a streetbike comparison. Usually the newer bikes are always lighter that the previous model, not heavier.

ok here it is you have to ride the 07's like a 2 smoker. if any one has ever riden a 2 str then you know what i am talking about. its just like my race honda cbr600rr since i have the motor done its peaky because thats how 600's get when they get highly tuned. so i have to ride my 600 just like a 2 str and always keep it screaming. the 07 isnt a street friendly bike its ment for track use not so much for the road. the 07 motor needs to be kept over 8 grand just like my honda.

not to argue with you guys BUT i would say its a great street bike. it gets great gas milage under the 8k and has some get up and go whenever you feel like going. it handles great and not to mention (in my personal opinion) its the best looking street bike on the market now! yes the zx10 is way faster but for someone who cant afford one its a good bike. maybe my opinion is a little biast tho because im a BOOST junkie and and mind waiting for some power...

You say you can't afford a zx10, but buy a zx6 and dump $2-3k in mods into then what is the difference besides still having a slower bike?

wow man not looking to argue here. i actually wouldnt beable to afford the bike because of the fact i would have to have insurance. just giving my point from a person who actually owns the bike instead of all the guesses everyone is having. yes, im going to mod my 600 but thats only because i CANT live without touching ****. i really wish i could because this is a very expensive hobbie but i cant

Ok I got my bike out today with the Two Bros. Carbon fiber slip-on and the power commander... it made a huge diffrence!! the bike wheelies and feels like its got a gob's more power now, but i've got to have it around 8k to get the front up.. but other than that i'm happy for now!
