Hey...does anyone know if the new exhausts are out? And if they are, what are ya'lls thoughts on a sturdy and cheap investment? I am not the richest rider on earth...but I am tired of sounding weak on the road!

 

If i'm not mistaken, the '05 exhaust is the same for the '06's.... as for the best for the money, i can't say because i still don't have an exhaust on my bike..... i can tell you one thing tho, u don't sound weak..... most of the guys i ride with have gixxies and when i first got mine i got a lot of comps on the noise our bikes put off..... I thought it was weak until i traded bikes with a friend of mine and heard it next to me..... our stock exhaust screams at mid-level and high rpms..... also, if you don't have cash, jus wait a few thousand miles, she will sound different after it's broken properly.....

 

I love my two bros but it is a little pricey.

 

Thanks for the info... tho I'm not sure I agree on the sound. I have over 2000mi on her already...Had her since mid Oct.

I also need a fender eliminator...I just used the goose tail mount and poked holes in my licence plate...it's ghetto..but functional. Any more ideas guys?

 

I have had a couple of buddies wanting me to buy an exhaust because when they heard it the bike was in nuetral just so they could check it out. They said its very quiet, which I totally agree, but when on the highway at mid RPMs it gets plenty loud. But if you want to purchase an exhaust I would check out two bros. Lots of money, but definitly sweet.

Id love to man, but I work tomorrow. I work at a motorcycle dealership so we dont get this day off which is cool. But Ill keep in touch with you and one of these weekends we can take a ride. I always work on saturday, but I have sundays and mondays to enjoy. I also race dirtbikes so it just depends on when I dont have a race. But Ill keep in touch with you man.
