2002 ZX-6R Question
hey guys, i am looking to get a ZX-6R and my budget is under $4000. I just found a bike on my local cragislist, it is a 2002, ZX-6R for $3500, perfect conditon, clear title, no crashs, but here is the catch, its got 44XXX miles on it. What do you guy think? I honestly have never seen a ZX-R6 with that many miles. Do you guys think its a good deal? and how many miles can the bike usally last" let me know, thanks!
You could put 4k down on a brand new ZZR600 (which is a remanufacture of a 2002 ZX6-r) and your payments would be low as hell. Your insurance would also be lower. Just something to think about.
i have seen 03,04 zx636 for that price bro, walk away and look for something more newer and fuel injected, i have a 04 zx6r and i gave 3,400 cash for mine and it only had 10,800 miles on her when i bought it, and it came with alot of aftermarket parts plus a clear title

You should especially be able to find cheap right now because riding season is almost over. Also, learn how to properly inspect a bike. I looked at a few that looked nice but the calipers were wearing like **** and there were bolts missing and all sorts of **** that pointed to crap ownership.
BE WISE!
ALL GOOD ADVICE DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT BIKE YOU'LL FIND ONE TEN TIMES BETTER. AND THIS THE SEASON TO BE LOOKING FOR A BIKE LIKE CARMI SAID IF YOU WAIT UNTIL SPRING YOU'LL PAY A GRAND MORE FOR THE SAME BIKE. AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT IS UP HERE IN NEBRASKA. AND DEFINATELY LOOK AT AN 05-NOW ZZR600. GREAT BIKE IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST BIKE BUT REMEMBER IT'S NOT FUEL INJECTED BUT HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH ZIP I KNOW THAT'S WHAT I GOT AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM RIDING/ KEEPING MY W/ ANYONE ON THE STREET.
Definately shop around. Remember, you don't have to jump on the first bike you can afford. I wouldn't buy a bike off the internet, because I would have to inspect it. Just my $.02
same here inspection is important...
