Default RE: 06 ZX6R TPS Help Plz

yep, me and my buddy spent only about an hour last night putting the new part on. it fixed the problem and now my beast revs freely again. it was exactly as you explained jman. thank you. i went ahead and ordered the service manual from kawasaki though, decided its good to have incase of things like this. i got to go pick her up now, still in his garage. ya, i'll send you the old one. let me know what you find inside, if its what i think, alot of moisture will be in there.

Default Kawasaki zx6r ninja 2002 carb

So I recently purchased a zx6r ninja 2002 carb. It started stuttering round 7500 revs in gear. I pulled the engine and on cyl 3 the inlet valves werent seating properly. I then the grinded it with some grinding paste and it then seated properly. I also striped the carbs and cleaned everything with carb cleaner. I also installed a new tps. After putting back the engine it started and didnt miss anymore. But now it doesnt rev up at all even if I twist the throtle to the max. Please help and I hope it is relevant. Thank you

I posted in your other post as well.
But how were the valves? Loose/tight?
You lapped the intakes and that "fixed the seating". What lash were you getting though before you lapped the valves? So you must have done a leak down test to find this issue?
You pulled the engine, yanked the heads and did an intake lapping. cool.
On install, what degree were the cams installed at?
Are you sure on your degreeing/cam placement?
I can assume that this 2002 carb rack is for a 2002 ninja 600r?
