all i can say is believe what you want. if you like your 07 then all power to you and if you like your 636 then great. i myself like the 06 636 more then the 07 6r. i dont really care who is winning in what race because i am not a professional rider and most of my riding will be on the street and not over 10k rpms. if you are planning to be a track junkie then the 07 is the bike hands down due to restrictions on the 636 at some tracks and the 07 6r's display in the 600 class.

if your going to be a track junkie youd want an 07 just because it handles better. so it all depends on the style of driving but if you want a bike for straightline top end speed your looking at the wrong cc of a bike anyways

Since it has been brought up already, Iwould liketo know what the Actual correctedtop speed is for the 07 ZX6R.Of course this should be done in a controlled environment; an abandoned airfield runway or Bonneville salt flats. I know there is a club in the east that runs top speed times. I will do more research and post.

The intro stated "Stock 2006 636". I have had mine up to 163 uncorrected but ran out of room. Always worried about the cops. Need a long straight deserted road to do some top speed runs.

At an indicated 75 mph my bike is going 70 GPS corrected.

yeah i am just to scared to get caught by the hiway patrol going those speeds, i used to be wilder when i was younger because there is a nice 5 mile strech of I5 close that is straight and smooth.

You need to dothe ECU Jumper Mod on your 07 and re-try. The ECU is closing the exhaust valve & cutting fuel. Make sure to tell us what you get up to. Please do it in a safe place with proper safety gear. I'd hate to see anyone get hurt or get in trouble with the LAW.
