Hey all first post and I have a ?
I have a 2003 zx6rr that has about 4000 miles----I bought it new-------- I haven't even started it in about 4 years. I want to start riding again and have a new battery coming, Just wondering what else I might need to do to get it started. Don't know much about FI and I think the fuel pump is in the tank. I am pretty sure I put stabilizer in the tank bur not sure if it still has fuel in it-Maybe dried up.
Would love to here your ideas.

Still drain out the old fuel prior to start up. 4 yrs is a long time.

All fluids need to be replaced, oil, fuel, coolant, brakes, I'd flush them all and check the filters. 4 years is far from the longest revive but like Drag said their is alot that can go bad in 4 years, better to start fresh. Also check the chain too, needs to be cleaned and lubricated, but its easy to overlook. once everything is fresh and clean cross your fingers, give her a crank, and post some pics.
