I would just take off the stock one and use it, they can get expensive to buy, plus you shouldn't have that many mile on the old one for it to be bad. Post some pics of your bike soon, I want to see it as I'm thinking about this exhaust too!!

Where is your O2 sensor at in the stock system? I was looking for it in the parts diagram and couldn't find it. I'm suprised that the new system doesn't have a location for it as well.

Well the stock location for the O2 sensor is right under the tail fairing right before the exauhst muffler meets the exauhst pipe. (not sure if that made any sense to you), on the akrapovic exauhst its at the bottom of the exauhst pipe almost near the oil pan, so i need to figure how to rewire that to install the stock O2 sensor, thast my dilema other then that the system is bad a$$ great looking pipe, ill post pics as it is now and when im done , thanx for the info

like I said in your other post you should be able to use your stock sensor. If worse comes to worse.. you will have the extend the wires.. if you do that make sure you soder the connections and use heat shrink to cover the wires

I thought that was what you were talking about in the begining but wasn't too sure. That is a type of wastegate if you will, it limits the amount of exhaust back pressure and helps with the torque of the motor. You should've gotten a new arm to put on the motor, I would have thought the original cables are long enough to be re-routed to the new location. I would call Akrapovic and talk to a technician for sure to see if your suppose to get different cable to make the system work. I did notice that they placed it farther forward then what was on the stock pipe.

If there's nothing in the instructions, give them a call. don't want to do the wrong thing and possibly mess up that bike. I don't understand why they would give you a limiter arm for the motor uf you don't use the part, unless the website is incorrect on the system components.
