I'm looking to change the gears on my 03 zx-6rr.Does anyone have any suggestions on what works the best or what they perfer and what works for them. I looking for it to help not rev out when doin wheelies in first and mking iteasier to pull up/ thanx

i found that -1 +2 is a good gearing, u will have more low end torque with out looseing alot of top end and u still can run the stock chain also, but u might just need to drop a tooth on the front and will be satisfied

 

If you don't want it to rev out in first, you will have to get a smaller rear sprocket (or larger front) but it will make it harder to pull up. You can go -1, +2 and do your wheelies in 2nd gear instead or bring it up in first and shift to second to keep from revving out.

 

I think he is looking to get it up easier, so -1+2 would be good for him. I guess I didn't understand the question at first

u can do the following mods like, pc111, k&n filter or bmc, and slipon or full exhaust to improve the bike performance and hp

 

A Slip-On or Full exhaust will get you more power; mostly top-end with the Full system. Get either a Race Kit ECU or a PCIII and an Ignition Module orIgnition advance rotor will give you more power throughout the RPM range.
