Starting/Electrical Issue

Starting/Electrical Issue
Hello all,
I went to start my 2012 ZX14R last night and everything looked fine at first. The lights and everything turned on, then I pressed the start button and there was one click and nothing. Tried several more times, then the lights and dash wouldn't turn back on. I turned the key off and on several times with no electrical response. I naturally assumed the battery was dead, but I got it out of the bike and took it home and put the multimeter on it and it read 12.7 volts, so there doesn't appear to be an issue there unless maybe the battery is bad. I charged it overnight and I'm going to get it tested to be sure. I would have assumed the starter was bad if the lights hadn't died, but I guess that could still be an additional issue if I get the electrical working again. The only new thing I did was spray some dry lock lube in all my keyed items on the bike a couple of days ago, including the ignition, though I can't imagine that would be causing a problem. Other than that though, I can only assume a loose connection somewhere? The bike only has 10,000 miles, so I'm having a hard time thinking it's wear and tear. Any suggestions or prior experiences would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!
