Default Engine swap....bike won't start

Just completed a engine swap on a 2001 ZX12r with a working 00-01 12r engine. The bike wouldn't start, so the starter was switched and on the stand the bike still won't start. Sounds like it's trying but won't catch and fire. Should I try to kick start(jump start) it?

Any suggestions?

Are the cam position sensors in the same location relative to crank angle in both engines? Look there first. Also check the TPS (throttle position sensor) and calibrate it. Lastly, check the balance on the throttle bodies. They need synchronized just like carbs. Good luck and let us know what you find.
