Basic question! Idle adjustment on a 1992 ZX11?
Here's a question that I'm almost ashamed to ask, but as I was trained, there's no such thing as a DUMB question when there's a perfectly logical answer that needs a receptive audience!
I need to adjust the idle speed on my 1992 ZX1100C-3, so I turned to the user and service manuals to find the correct data. They all say (quote) "Turn the carburetor idle screw to set idling speed". OK, great! Just dandy! But in which effing direction? Clockwise or counterclockwise? And which direction results in which adjustment? Do you turn the adjusting screw clockwise to decrease idle speed or counterclockwise, etc.?
Thanks in advance for this enlightenment (but why in hell don't they clarify that point in all the manuals...including the owner's handbook?).

After some further fiddling around with that 'idle speed screw' on the left side of the engine (adjacent to the carbs) it SEEMS as if tuning the screw clockwise increases idle speed and counterclockwise decreases it (but it's hard to be sure). Anyone confirm this or correct my assumption? Thanks.
