Hi,

I haven't had my bike for that long and im a bit of a noob because it is my first ever bike.

After i start the bike it idles at around 1200 RPM, and after i go for a ride the idle speed changes to 2000 RPM. I was just wondering, for piece of mind, is this normal?

The idle should be about 1300RPM's. Try adjusting the idle at normal operating temp.

 

Mine alwayse did that. I was constantly fiddling with the idle screw. Turning it up when first started, and down when it warmed up and was idling high.

 

That's why they put the easy adjust **** on there. I have to idle mine up when cold, and then turn it down as it warms up.

Yea it starts a little lower, I usually make mine so after its warmed up it's around 1500.
