i got battle axes on my 05 10 right now and i like them but my friends use pilot powers and they love them but i guess any of the top brands are great some where out a little quicker than others but unless ur valentino rossi i dont think u will really notice a difference. let me know how those qualifiers are i need a new front and back for mine next season and winter is coming soon here in canada so almost time to put the bikes away!

 

As far as dry weather they handle great.... I have no probs with them. Exit speed out of a corner in a lean is awesome. Alot better then the d218 that came stock on the 05's. I havent had them in wet weather so no reviews there...sorry

 

What tire pressures on the Qualifiers are you guys running?

I was running 36f and 42r psi on my D218 sportmax

 

thats funny lemac because i did not know u need to check pressure on the tires and before i went to the track i checked mine and the front was 20 and the back was 25 and i could not figure out when me and my friend traded bikes how come i could turn so easy on his gixer 1000 i could turn so easy and mine i was fighting for my life and he said the same thing about mine. he is a reat rider so he said it was either my dampner or my tires and when we checked and seen the numbers he started laughing and saying i was riding on rims. now its fine and handles great i got 35 front and 41 rear im a rooky at riding what can i say[sm=bangbang.gif]

lol, that was funny. Think I will try a higher pressure to start with especially for this Oyster Run this month and then the Vegas Run next month. But will prolly drop down to 32f/34r and give that a shot. For the Qualifiers that is.

 

man i would turn pale every corner i would hit and i could not figure out why when i read about the zx 10 it said it was the easiest bike to tip and the lightest and i bench over 300 pounds and i was fighting the dam bike with all my might every corner and my freinds would look at me like i was crazy then i put air in them and u know the rest of the story LOL
