Default Slip-on Exhaust

I've been looking at several different exhaust systems for my bike which is a 07 ZX10R and I have decided that at my riding level a slip on exhaust system is what I'm in the market for. I really just want my bike to sound more like what it is... a beast. Question is for you guys and gals that have already done this, what all do you have to do for a slip on exhaust system? Is it just a few simple bolts, or would I need some calibration mods with the computer or is there something I don't even know of???
Thanks!

Default RE: Slip-on Exhaust

most slip ons dont require fuel remapping.
I keep telling people that the Yoshi R22 sounds like a Tie Fighter from star wars. I love it! real deep, but loudwhen you really get on it. if you have the money though, go with the akropivic (sp?) any one that fits the 10R would be great.

Install is easy. you have to take off the seat, rear cowl and there is a bold that holds on the bracket to the frame and thre are 4 bolts that hold on the mufflers. took me about a hour, but that was doing it by the book, taking off passengers foot pegs, and moving all brackets out of the way. its still very straight forward.

Let us know what you come up with
