Default Slip-on Exhaust Question???

My new Muzzys slip-on should be here one day this week. I have a question to all of you guys/gals who have installed a slip-on? Did you install a power commander? If not, did the slip-on cause your engine to run lean? Are you experiencing any popping or backfiring on deceleration or downshifting?

I am trying my best to get everything that I need to install on my bike so I can set aside one day and do it all. If the addition of the Muzzys slip on is going to cause me to run lean, I will go ahead and pick up a PCIIIUSB or a Cobra Fi2000R to smooth the fuel delivery back out. The Cobra Fi2000R allows you to make adjustment and tune on the fly...no computer is necessary.

Thanks!!!

when i put my slip-on on, the FI light came on and u can tell its running a little lean, you can smell it... they say its not required, but if u got the money, ill promise it damn sure will not hurt at all!

I hate it when I see used exhuasts on Ebay without the FI bracket.

Who wants to ride and stare at that light every time they look down at the gauges?
