whoah, i cant get the 06 for 10,4 plus tax..... i think ill get the 06 but thanks for lookin out!

 

Just a note: The bars tingle the hands at certain rpms on the 06 10r.

 

the 06's come with an ohlins steering damper from the factory... nice touch in my book...

 

I agree, and maybe 10% of them have blown seals. (stock ohlins steering dampers) From my reading of course. I still like my 06 so far.

 

Yeah, same here. Low life dealer in Glendale AZ has two 05 10s on floor. no one will do biz with them. bikes will probably be there next year too. I have an 06 and would buy it over 05 unless you get a really good deal. Only reason I was there, they had a part in stock I needed.

hers my experience if u want a more user freindly bike go with the 06 and it is gorgeous i love it. but if u are experienced enough and u want a freak of nature go with the 05 way more torque and all out speed but harder to handle than the 06 iheard the 06 handles better with the suspension! the 05 before i bought it in the shoot out with the other 1000 said the 05 is the hardest bike to learn how to ride and master! us and the gsxr were the top to bikes but i think ours is better!

 

i went and picked up my bike yesterday, i was in a big toss up between zx10 and zx14. i got the zx14 and actually like it more than i thought i was. gf wanted a bike we could race and a little bit more rider friendly back seat. i have no complaints with it tho.
