as some of you guys read in the zx6r part of the forum my bike got stolen sat night and totalled. i dont know what they are going to do yet, the guys come from good families, but i dont know yet. i either want a 05 zx10 or 06 zx10. i know they changed the body, and i know that both are good bikes, but is it worth the extra money to go with the 06?

 

I vote for the 05 it looks better.

 

u think there are any dealerships that have NEW 05's still??? i know i know, i very likely doubt it, but its worth a shot...

If u can find an 05 do it. If not go with an 06. I know at the stealership out here they have a sweet 05 with really low miles. The guy traded it in on an 06 busa. Aftermarket exhaust hotbodies undertail integrated signals ect......

I liked the frame geometry better, the increased linear power delivery that the new one offers. The extra weight like most said can be shaved off. My purchase was for track only to go with my zx-7.

 

Fun Bike Center in San Diego has a new 05 the last time i was there. personally wouldnt buy a bike from the low lifes but they do have one..
