Default Two up on a 650...

So, I was wondering what the weight limit is on this bike. Anybody know? I've started taking my wife out on some rides with me and was wondering if I'm killing the bike. The engine doesn't seem to have any problems...

I've increased the tire pressure to help compensate for the extra weight, and I know I can adjust the rear shock; just don't know HOW to do it exactly. Is their some kind of special tool needed?

Hopefully she'll start to like it enough to where she wants her own bike. It's much more fun riding solo in my opinion.

Not really sure on the 650 actually. Normally I have a few sets of spanner wrenches in the tool box and a nice set or jack stands to release the spring pressure. Some people use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and without the spring pressure released. I cringe on that, but it works.

A buddy at work showed me how to adjust the spring with the spanner wrench. Super easy and much better with two up. Riding with it that stiff for solo though, kinda sucks.

400 lbs total load - rider, passenger, accessories and luggage.

The tool for adjusting the rear preload is in the bike's tool kit. It's not easy to use until you get used to it.
