Bluebeast, it'll be a while before I get that. I'm gonna wait for at least another year, probably two though. But when I do get one, you guys will be the first to know!!

sounds good there bluebird. I never buy a new car model or bike model intill they have made them for a couple of years then they usualy have the bugs worked out by then.
Thought the 650 as a good starter ride actually. Or the ones who like more power and have experience. Actually was trying to get the 650 and the 10r in a nice deal for racing. That did not work out but thought that this was a good class ride. Suspension is weak, but thought that overall this would be a good ride. Yes waiting a couple of yrs is usually a good idea in a new ride model. New cases, etc. hmm, negate the waiting a couple of yrs on a model. If you like and understand the specs, go for it.

http://www.motorcycle.com has a pretty cool comparison article on the new Kawi 650R and the Suzuki SV650.

And... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 650 is a twin, and it actually makes less HP than your typical 4 cylinder 600... But with a bit more torque, and all at lower RPM's. Most definately a good starter bike! Go get one Blue!
