Default need to replace mirror on 2010 Ninja 650

I need to replace the right hand mirror on a 2010 Ninja 650. With what tool, and how, might I do it? Can I reach in there without taking a lot of the bike apart?

Thanks

Bob

(I don't own a 650, but) are you removing/replacing the entire assembly or were you able to just find the actual mirror pod? The mirror stem-to-fairing mount looks like two bolts and likely a rubber vibration gasket on the outer-side. You might find it a little cramped with hand tools. (If you're not real handy with tools, you might want to mask-off around the outer mounting plate so you don't slip and possibly wonk the plastic.) Let us know if you need more detail.

I forgot to clarify. I am replacing the whole mirror including the mount which must be unbolted from below. I am told that one could reach under maybe and find the nut. I wonder what size it is....

thanks again

Bob

I do not have a 650 either but a standard 10mm short socket and rachet should pop off the two acorn nuts that hold the mirror assembly onto the support and through the fairing.
