Hello,

I just put money down on a Ninja 650 KRT today. It will be crated from California in about 1-week. This bike will replace my crashed/totaled 2016 CBR500R from last November.

The CBR was a change of pace after selling my 2008 KLR650 which I put on 53,000 miles. Though the Honda was a great commuter it did have some issues from the beginning with fit and finish including a slow crack in the fairing next to the tank that I noticed after the warranty ran out. I got great mileage out of that bike and I plan to max out my MPG with the Kawi as well.

I am looking forward to getting back to riding as I have been a street bike rider for over 25-years on and off. I had thoughts about taking a year off to think things through after last years accident, but I really dislike driving a car every day.
