How much should I pay for this 06 650r?
2006 Kawasaki 650R ninja.
8600 miles
stainless brake lines
integrated tail light
vince leo exhaust
clip ons
Not sure how much its worth, but the guy wants $3500 and I believe he's negotiable. By the way I need this bike dropped about 2 inches. Anyone know how much the links will cost me?

Not bad on the price, but I still would try to talk him down more to see how low you can go. As for lowering the bike it does not use a lowering link, you are going to have to buy a Penseke shock which will run you about $700-$800.

No lowering link on the bike, I am sure because I have owned my bike for almost 2 years and I have asked before. On ebay there is a link that says it will lower it, but it does not look safe because it changes the geometery of the shock itself. Why do you want to lower the bike, because I am 5'5" and short legged and with my Icon feild armour boots I am comfortable. You may want to check out Blue Ridge Performance, because he sells a seat that is 1" shorter and runs about $300.
Found a lowering link

The one ebay is half the price and looks better made, but it is upto you. The thing is that the way the shock is mounted on the bike it would put alot of stress on that piece, and if it broke going down the road you would wreck. It has been discussed on another forum that I belong to and everyone agreed that on suspension that why cut corners.
I have to use my Icon boots and even then I am balancing it on the ***** of my foot, and I have been doing since I bought the bike. I have heard of people using a shocks from Works, or you may try Dave Quinn Motorcycle website, they offer shocks for the 650r. I have seen other shocks the range from $300-$800, but most people reconmend the Penseke shock.
