if you do how far is it and do you ride in any weather?

i commute about 18k per year and wet weather is just a more interesting ride.

 

My commute is 1.8 miles each way to and from work. Its pretty rough too, like today for instance, I actually saw another car on the way to work.[8D] and with the price of Diesel, $5.15 a gal, my 60mpg KLX is paying off big time. In fact back in November of 05, that was the original reason for buying the bike was that Diesel was $2.70, and now look at it. I don't gamble, or play the stock market, but this little green machine is paying me dividends every time I get on it, not only in fuel savings but the smile on my face as I ride past the gas pumps and head out to the trails. I ride mine back ad forth to work(about 2 miles each way), because it is alot cheaper than filling up my truck everyweek with about $80 worth of gas. I go about 3 weeks on a tank of gas with my bike just running around town and the occassional trip into the county. I love my 650r and getting about 40-50 miles to the gallon.

 

I commute 60 miles each way to work. This will be changing soon since I'm moving closer to my job.

I try to ride to work as much as possible especially with the gas prices but i only ride if weather permits. I have a company laptop and work at home frequently (damn phone conferences with China!). That is the only reason I'm not all weather rider for my commute.Can't afford to get the laptop damaged from rain/water from being in my backpack.
