Hicktown, have you rode the 650R yet? I don't know what you're comparing it to... a 1200? Yeah it might be weak then, but it's his first bike... I give props to anyone who starts on a 650 and can afford to lay it over. My 500 is what I could afford and still rocks my socks. But if I did have the money, 650R would be in my garage. Good pick Qbert.
