Default any tank slap/steering dampers?

Hello,

I am considering a 650R. My previous bike was a 500r, and the 650 seems perfect...it weighs no more than the 500 but about .8 quicker in the 1320 and fuel injection so no standing around waiting to open the choke...too bad it doesn't have a center stand built-on but oh well, those aren't too expensive.

Anyway, one thing I liked about the 500 was it wouldn't get out of control no matter what you were doing to it (in my experience anyway), so it was a good first bike. But is anyone getting any wobbles or tank slaps out of their 650s? Anyone need to install a steering damper? I thought that stuff only happenned with "big bikes"...

Thanks.

I have had no problem with tank slap since I bought my bike, but I know on I have seen Longbrakes bike on here with a steering stablizer he bought. The center stand is not put on this bike because on the exhaust being mounted underneath, and I am not sure if you could even really mount one unless you redesigned the exhaust.
