78K miles,rebuild top end,replace w/used motor or new bike ?
07 Kawasaki Ninja 650
78,000 miles, high consumption of oil; probably rings, valve stem seals, and or valve guides and set of gaskets. Local bike shop tells me if I rebuild top end even w/ oem parts, will not last as long as factory motor, that I'd better be off to replace w/ used low miles motor. I have a shop w/ all special tools; no problem w/ rebuild myself, but now questionable and thinking about new to me used low mileage bike.
What to do ?
