Default 2012 Super 650

I'm new here, some of the other forums are dead, and I just recently found this one.
I hope this post can assit others in breathing new life in to your own bikes.
I've been slowly building a budget supertwin, a few weeks ago I went to the dyno and recorded 71bhp at the back wheel...... Not earth shattering figures, but respectable given that the fuel pump was found to be producing nowhere near the pressures it should have been.
So finally a new pump arrived earlier this week, I was eager to install it and get back to the dyno asap, after a bit of tweaking the fuel, dialing in some ignition advance my bike hit just under 78bhp at the rear wheel on a relatively conservative Dynojet rolling road.
I have posted two dyno graphs, one graph is of my bike alone, the other graph is my bike (green and light blue lines) and a flashed CBR650 with a slipon and filter (Dark blue and red lines)
My target for this build was to equal a stock cbr650, yet i've managed to equal a lightly modified and tuned cbr650. I've already had a play with several Honda cbr650's so far and to say they are somewhat shocked when my bike walked away from them would be somewhat of an understatement

Modified airbox
Sub throttle plates removed
Ported inlet and exhaust ports
Wider valve seat throats
Polished exhaust ports
Two ninja 650 inlet camshafts (custom degreed)
cylinder head skimmed
Modified exhaust valve bucket walls (to accept an inlet camshaft)
Charcoal canister removed
ABS removed
Versys swingarm
Ohlins rear shock
Heavier fork oil and preload shims
Front fork dropped 1"
Rear ride height uppd 1"
EBC HH brake pads
EBC braided brake lines front and rear
RK X-ring chain
RK rear and front sprockets
Custom made radiator (Approx 200% larger than stock)
Sportier bars
Short folding leavers
Integrated tail light
Tail tidy
Single seat cowl
Late spec fairing gills (black)
Quick release fuel cap
Renthal grips
Rosso II tyres

All in all the bike has gained 30% more power
Lost around 20% of its weight
Suspension and braking have been improved
And the nature of power deliver is a lot more savage compared to the stock 60-62bhp bike.
Many of the accessories I purchased secondhand and did all but the milling and dyno work myself, so saved a small fortune.
P.S. This bike will be staying in my family, no intentions of ever selling it, so the money invested into making her a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing was worth it to me, I just love surprising CBR650's on the roads here in Thailand, wish I could see their faces under their helmets as I leave them behind
