Glad you and the lady are ok! Also Kudo's on jumping back in the saddle.....Could you share what safety equipment you were wearing at the time of the crash? This could serve as valuable information for the rest of us when choosing our gear. Also any opinion of how well it did it's job. I'm guessing from your injuries you weren't wearing any protective riding pants? Admittedly I usually ride with Iconriding jeans, which while heavily reinforced, are probably not the safest choice.

Thanks for any info you care to provide...I'll keep my eyes open for fairings....

she had an icon jacket with reinforcement and i had icon gloves on with tecnic jacket and we both wore zeus helmets. It seems like in this cae the jackets did more than anything, there arenty really any marks on the helmets. I wish i was wearing pants, it was amazing looking at all the gear layed out. My jacket gloves and helmet were scuffed at most while my jeans were demooooolished. Ill dedffinately be picking up the pants that zip into the jacket. ill try to get some picks up of the bike and gear

Maybe try looking it up on bikebandit.com in their micro fische, or any other web store that allows you to compare factory part #'s. Even Kawasaki's website has a micro fische. That would be my advice. I thought the 500 had some changes made to it around '94 or '95.

Here's one aftermarket choice for you.....

http://airtech-streamlining.com/kawiz/EX5001994-06.htm

they come unfinished so you'd have to have it painted as well as some mounting fabrication....

haha yeah on the way to the hospital i was worried my girlfriends dad was going to kill me, i told her to make sure to let him know he didnt have to worry about cutting my nuts off and that i was on my to have them reattached as we speak [sm=noooo.gif]

as for that after market site posted it would def helpp and is cheaper but what i really need is the front bracket that the fairing mounts too
