I have this weird sound on my bike just noticed it a couple days ago. It seems to only make when i am in first or second it seems like it is coming from the from the front near the forks. Just seems like a little whinning any ideas. It is not constant, once i get to work after getting off the interstate i dont hear it once i get down to the lower again.

Try this: put the bike on the centerstand and ask a friend to hold down the back of the bike.
With the front wheel elevated, spin that wheel and you'll hear a slight whirring. That's from the brake pads lightly touching your brake rotor. Believe it or not, the brake pads on disk brakes do not have a return spring (like drum brakes do) and the only thing pushing those pads out and away from the rotor is air turbulence!
This is the main reason we have holes drilled in our brake rotors; it introduces air turbulence at speed that pushes the brakes pads back out.

It could be something else, but based on your description so far, that's my diagnosis.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Peace!
