Default new exhaust and carburation problems

Hello,

Recently I changed my bike's exhaust to a new one, and since the change I'm having carburation problems. My bike does not respond well in the range between 3,5 - 4K RPM. I have changed the sparks and the sparck plug resistor covers with no succes. the old sparks were almost black and very dirty. meaning a very rich mixture.

The air filter is almost new, so it is very clean.

I have also changed the fuel/air mixture. I have experienced a small improve when closeing the screw and opening it only 1/2 turn. I think that doing this there will be more air in the mixture. but this setup is far away from the stock one (2 twrns in the european model). but the problem is still there.

I'm going to wait untill I ride a few kilometers to check the sparks againg to see if the fuel mixture has improved.

Any advice to solve this problem?

best regards.

Default RE: new exhaust and carburation problems

well, I have realized that with 2 turns in the mix screw the behaviour of the bike improves. I need to ride it with this configuration for a longer time, but I thing that the response is going to be between 2 - 2 1/2 turns. As if I where installed a jet kit
