Hello all, I have a question I hope some of you could help me out with.

Just doing some research for another mod, I came across someone who told the that when he used to race, a popular thing for the EX500 guys to do was swap an F2 front end onto the 500 for the track. From my research I gather the 500 has 37mm forks and the F2 has 41mm forks, so I am assuming its not just a direct fork swap. Has anyone here heard of such a mod? Have any info on it? Can anyone point me to another resource?

The only thing I can think of is they must have been pressing the 500 stem into the f2 triples...
