I suppose I should take the high road and just wave. I would like to think I'm keeping a tradition going. Perhaps I should re-think the title of this thread.

 

I always wave - if they don't wave back its on them.

 

I'm with you KB I'm high on life and everyone gets a wave. I even include the scooters unlike some of my bike buddies who shun them. If you got two wheels and a motor you get a wave. Gotta spread the love and don't worry about anything else.

 

Yeah I agree- always wave and if you don't get a wave back then let it slide.As a new rider though, don't certain other jesters means certain things, like a left foot out means there is a cop up ahead. I heard that from somewhere. Is that true? And are there any others?

 

my msf class went over hand signalsbut the instructer is a big touring guy that told us alot of extra info I don't remember whats in the book. my state, Idaho does there own books, but you still should take the class alot of good tips

Here in Oregon in the Willamette Valley everyone waves, I guess it's because we only get to enjoy 1/3 of the year with decent weather so we get out there and enjoy the road [sm=happy046.gif]. The only time that I don't usually wave is if a scooter passes me by...I'm sorry but if someone wants to go buy a 250CC, 300CC, or larger scooter they should just go get a motorcycle then they wouldn't look so goofy!
