once again more problems with the 92 ZX-7, So i am about ready to garage the bike for the season and I notice that my bike was not turned off in neutral so no big deal, get it into neutral and letting her warm up, take the choke off put it into first and go, turn onto the street give it some gas, clutch in bring it up to second and no dice just goes back into neutral. fortunately my buddies house is a block away. So i am fiddling around and it just won't shift into anything past first.


Also on a side note does anyone w/ a 92 have problems with their fuel pump clogging after a ride in the rain? I got mine cleaned about 3 weeks ago due an earlier problem, and got caught in the rain the other day, 3 days later when it was warm enough to ride, I got the same problem as before w/ the bike dying when you give it gas but warms up and idles just fine. Am i just having crappy luck or did i miss something.

 

Couple questions:
Was the entire fuel system drained when you did the fuel pump?
Can you power shift any?
Have you changed the CS before the trany question?
