We're okay now, thank gawd-fur-victry that the wind stopped blowing. The skies are still red with smoke and there is a fine layer of ash and soot all over everything. Everyone at my work got evacuated from their houses, so we all had a slumber party for two nights in our new office.
We certainly could use a nice heavy rain about now to wash away all this ducking fust. I swept up about three buckets full of it last night and I had black boogers in the shower this morning.
Peace!

damn that does suck @ss, id b more than happy to let ya have all of the rain we got, considering ur area is one of the few that actually could greatly benefit from it the mostest(yes i realize that isnt a word but it describes the phrasing the bestest :P)

and also glad ur still doin ok hang in there kiddo hopefully it will blow over soon enough(no pun intended)

We are all thinking about everyone down there. My heart goes out to everyone that has experienced a loss. Its sort of a wake up call for us all. A few weeks ago my insurance agent called and said that I needed to get more insurance because of the cost to build, I think I better call him back now.[&:]

We get 140 to 160 inches a year here, I would send some down if I could.
