hahaha, the cam tensioner is always the first check on the kawi.

Right on with the fix.

Thanks mmi86 for the pic. Lets people know what a notched basket looks like. You care to show pics of the plates now after a track side scraping/scuffing looks like? lol

Haha Drgaone hold your lips, you know we dont talk about scraping plates on the concrete, i mean....., and ill be intrested to see if this noise comes back

High five.

I had a feeling. Because the camchain loops all the way down under the crank, it can sound like it's coming from anywhere. If the noise comes back, it might be time for a new camchain tensioner. The older ones are prone to failure. (But they're still better than the POS CCT's Honda puts in their bikes.
